Simply Lovely! 8" Madame Alexander "Miss Leigh" was made for the C.U. (Collectors United) Gathering held in Atlanta Georgia in 1989. This charming Southern Belle was made for the 50th Anniversary of "Gone With The Wind." She is autographed by Southern Belle Leigh Green Sanford on the hangtag. Miss Leigh is dressed in an off the shoulder, yellow ruffled chiffon and taffeta formal. Under her gown, she wears a full-length taffeta and net crinoline with yellow trim, white lace undies, stockings, andwhite satin slip-on shoes with a little yellow flower on the front of each. Miss Leigh being a proper “Southern Belle" wouldn’t be complete without her wide-brimmed white, straw hat, decorated with coordinating yellow ribbon and flowers, and a yellow matching flower in her hair. She is in preowned, but mint condition and has her wrist tag attached. The box has a few dents and scuffs from storage and the box title is faded from age, but otherwise still in good condition.
