This is one of my favorite Madame Alexander Cisssette dolls! 2003 Madame Alexander Cissette "Shadow Yardley" is a blonde 10" Cissette dressed in an exact replica of an outfit from one of the famous 1950s Cissy Yardley ads. Part of the Platinum Dealer Collection and also one of the dolls produced for the company's 80th Anniversary.
Cissette is fashionably chic with her sophisticated blonde chignon and exquisitely dressed in a steel blue-gray dupionne silk dress with tiny bead buttons and a 2 strand "pearl" necklace and matching earrings; matching silk shoes, shimmery nylons, white satin and netted petticoat. She has a silvertone anniversary emblem on her wrist along with a picture card of the original Yardley ad that the doll was fashioned after. She also comes with a small "Yardley" perfume bottle. I added a clear elastic band to her wrist (removable) that can be used to hold the bottle in her hand (just like the ad!).
Cissette comes in her original box with COA 112/1500, with her tiny replica perfume bottle and special anniversary hand tags. She is pre-owned, but in minty like-new condition and simply stunning!
