From my personal collection is this wonderful vintage Vogue Jill doll wearing her 1957 tagged outfit #7411. Jill is a brunette ponytail with bangs, rosy cheeks and blue eyes with molded lashes that open and close easily. Her walker works, though her knees are stiff and I haven't forced them to bend. She retains most of her toe and fingernail polish. Her arms could use restringing, but they will hold a pose.
Jill wears an original red taffeta short gown in excellent vintage condition that I found among items leftover from my father's toy store that he owned in the 1950s-60s. The tagged red taffeta dress has a velvet ribbon that ties around her neck and a rhinestone on the center of the bodice. The skirt is full and stiff, so it holds it's full appearance. Under her dress Jill wears matching taffeta panties and tagged red netted slip with velvet trim and polka dots, though the waist needs stitching closed and is currently held together with a safety pin. Thigh high stockings and red elastic sandals with rhinestone finish the outfit perfectly. On her head, she wears a coordinating red velvet bow hat and of course some bling with her rhinestone earrings and necklace to compliment the outfit.
This pretty outfit can be seen on p.246 of the Vogue Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls by Judith Izen & Carol Stover.
